need help with strange detuning bug....!

Hi all

I'm sorry if this has been previously been answered before, but so far i've not been able to find a solution,

I've been experiencing a strange bug that causes one or two of my VST tracks to sound out of tune with respect to the rest of the song.

as an example i've been using miroslav philharmonic in cubase 5 and i can at first hear the 4 track song completely okay in tune, but later in the session one of the channels gets off tune, whilst the rest remains normal. this glitch happens suddenly, and seems to reset when i exit and restart the project.

it also happens when i use akoustik piano vst standalone - initially the song sounds great but halfway through the whole vst becomes sharper by something like half a semitone... this happens even when i play live...

is this an asio problem?? i've been using ASIO4ALL... and i'm not running anything in the background other than AVAST antivirus. i'm on a winXP system by the way. and this never seem to happen before in the past.

i've identified the problem.
it's my crappy old EMU xboard61 sending random CC messages to the daw, including pitch bend etc...

i guess it's time to upgrade to a new controller....
