TeamDNR Collaborative Designs announces the release of Underground Revival for Rob Papen's SubBoomBass synthesizer. Underground Revival is a set of 40 high quality sounds inspired by the early 1990's underground rave scene, and gives you access to heavy duty bass sounds which are usable in a vast array of musical styles. As a bonus, you'll also find sounds which demonstrate SBB's ability to deliver great synth and pad sounds as well.

Great, just been laid off today(so time next week to beat make) and absolutely lovin the last preset in the demo the most - Washing Machine Bass, Will definatley be getting this soundset from you, SBB was in dire need of more varied presets, getting my bank in a minute

I'm highly impressed by the quality of the patches, sounds like the original hardware used to make the original sounds they are emulating, and if you have used just the onboard sounds & synthesis it shows that SBB is quite something more than what I thought it was capable of, that's if you didn't import any samples to make these patches?! I would find alot of the patches highly useable and it would suit alot of sub-genres, not just old school but modern dance also, if this bank turns into a sleeper; for some it will be a secret weapon, I will be using some of these sounds for my next (amatuer

)tunes - They will inspire me, for those into breaks and Drum & Bass it's an ideal bank, but it stretches much further than that - If you make another say 128 preset bank for SBB directly for Rob Papen I will be getting a copy for sure...

for £3+ it's a steal!

Lol...nope, no samples were ripped from any recordings. That is one heck of a compliment, buddy...thank you

. With emulation-type presets, I really try hard to please the purists and capture as many subtle details as I can with the tools available.

As for a bank directly for Rob Papen, it's most definitely gonna happen as Rob and I have already started discussing it behind the scenes. If all goes as planned with it, there is going to be an interesting suprise about that bank which I will reveal when it's close to its release date.

The Mr Fingers Washing Machine Bass is so authentic I think Larry Heard back in the 1980's got in a time machine and went to 2009, bought SBB & a copy of your bank, returned to the 80's and made a tune called 'Washing Machine', even the way the sound tails of at the end is just like on the original track, The Reese Bass is subby and huge/realistic, My other favourites are the Technarcy(Cybersonic) patch and the Kicksquad - Champion Sound patch, they are the best IMO, the 808/909 Kick basses are brilliant too! Cheers! They will be called upon alot when I'm beat making.....
