Oh my! I was afraid after I posted someone would ask. Now please try to refrain from "your ears are full of wax", "you must be tone deaf" as I know this is true already.

These three are for Cubase and are from UAD's:
Greasy Snare
Fat Drums
Snare Crack

I should also mention that it's the 1176SE. I don't have the LN and I realize there's considerable debate about how they differ. I apologize for not having mentioned that in the previous post.

Presets

Oh I use presets as a starting point anyway... I've never loaded a preset and said "ok thats good". So you don't hafta worry about me chastising you.

Sounds great, I haven't had a chance to give it a real test though. I don't want to be in the numbers that just give a "thanks" hit-and-run response

...i don't have a real LA2A in studio right now so i can't compare it to Modern Lost Angel...but this new Antress compressor is really unique in its own sound!!...i have an hardware opto compressor in studio and the transients treatment is really similar to antress plugin.I've compared it to t-racks opto compressor but they are different beasts,the t-racks is much more similar to Antress modern amplifier...Modern Lost Angel reminds me in someway the so loved Blockfish when in opto+complex mode...nobody have opinions on this last beauty of Antress?

Yes but according to what Antress said, Painkiller was only "inspired" from LA2A and now is discontinued...then the name was changed to modern amplifier...now in addition to modern amplifer, he has released Modern LostAngel that would be an "exact clone" of an LA2A....if someone can make a test with an LA2A from UA and post a couple of files here we would be happy ^_^

hi Igro, sorry my english very pool.

i try to put a mono kick drum on mono track and stereo tracks, than insert Modern Compressor, open large level meters.

but no see the bug (gives slightly different volume for left and right channel).

and i checked the plugin design, but can't find any stereo volume problem.

just say sorry, i can't check this problem

Damn the man who can! That lost angel has gots to be the best compressor I have. It would probably be way more popular if Antress came around sucking up to everybody and asking for opinions.
