303ish accent envelope in SE?

I've got influenced by the open303 project, and I thought I should have a good go at creating something like a 303. So how would one go about doing that? I've tried to redirect the velocity via a comparator which works sort of. Still problems are appearing to and fro. Now I can't post a scematic since I'm not @ home, and won't be that until later today (around 6-7 PM give or take 30 minutes depending on the trafic situation).

you can look at a sonogram of some of the audio samples recorded by rv0 in the other thread..
a good way is to use two -6dB (one-pole) LP filters for that
but the envelope curve is essential there..
even my gimmick response curve doesn't match really close, only similar..

It doesn't matter how it sounds..
..as long as it has BASS and it's LOUD!

Try reading page 13 of the AudioRealism Bass Line manual. There's some interesting info on inner working of the Accent control in the 303. Might prove useful.
