let me start out by saying that i am very new to synthesizers, particullarly the software kind. anyway, i just downloaded the zebra 2 demo (im trying to decide which one to buy). i really like it, except for one problem. every now and then, the pitch will start going crazy. like, ill be hitting one key, but getting a different pitch each time...and it seems to be random, odd notes. im using a cheap m-audio midi keyboard, never had this problem with other programs ive tried so far. is this a feature that i am unknowingly turning on, or is it a problem with the software?

ok sorry about this post. i see now that this is apparently how the demo works. my bad for not using the "search" feature :(

Demo limitations:

after 10 minutes of use, Zebra will have its own mind on which notes to play...

Otherwise, it's fully functional
Edit: Aha, I see you found an earlier discussion about this.

hi - from what i have read on here, from others reporting a similar issue, it is something about that you are using the synth in DEMO mode. needless to say, that will not be a problem in the full licensed version. I own it and I've never experienced such goofiness. by the way, stop wondering. you CANNOT go wrong with purchasing Zebra2. if you dislike it you can slap me (if you can find me). no,, but seriously, the wacky waveform manipulation coupled with out of this world filtering potential coupled with nearly endless modulation capabilities AND the general ease of use make this a must-own piece of soft. And no I do not work for U-he. :D

Hi jareddd,

The demo version of Zebra has no limitation on loading presets, so you can demo literally thousands of free ones located in the Zebra PatchLib.

Maybe some of those sounds will convince you Zebra can make the noises you're after. ;)

Cheers!
