My wild guess is the Synth1 author has a rigorous NDA, maintained by a high-end employer, who took a very dim view of his the Synth1 'hobby', thus locking away any discussion or updates for the duration of the agreement. Speculation. Theory. Not even a rumour worthy of a whisper...kaiyoti wrote:Believe me I've tried, I'm assuming language barrier. I'm pretty sure he saw my email because I was able to trace a Apache log to a Japanese IP and a referrer that matches his email properties. But he didn't respond, I'm not worthy of his awesomeness.tattiemannie wrote:Good stuff ... cool to have you back in the mix![]()
... and being such a Synth1 fanboi () ... err, do you know how to contact the dev?? ... I like to contact devs when I launch comps featuring their stuff, but I cant seem to fight my way through the Japanese content to be sure I'm on the right track!

Not sure whom you're asking, but anyways mine will be hopefully ready 'til the deadline. I've badly damaged my hand, can barely use my machine now

I'm probably going to upload mine soon. Need to listen through it once more. But now it's too noisy. Although it's never really quiet here.

Better wait 'til the end of the deadline, Xenobioz, or else I'm not gonna upload mine if I hear something great

I'm having small flat make-over/repair fighting to find more time for few other things
My composition framework thankfully sits already on my mobile phone. I have to rewrite it in my DAW, generate some sounds, mix the whole thing... At worst I will use presets instead of making own sounds and my mix will sound as lofi as the last one

Thanks tattie, I'll manage to make something anyway, just hope it won't be as laughable as my realtime one-handed playingtattiemannie wrote:Ouch! Thats not so good Noth ... hope things get easier for you soon.

Well it seems clear paople don't come from nowhere and do this kind of world class work out of a bedroom, this guy knew some serious stuff to begin with. Also very good odds he didn't do this for fun and went back to a regular job, and even if he did was bound to be snapped up by a top manufacturer. My guess it's someone from Roland or other that don't do softsynths and you are very close to the truth.glokraw wrote:My wild guess is the Synth1 author has a rigorous NDA, maintained by a high-end employer, who took a very dim view of his the Synth1 'hobby', thus locking away any discussion or updates for the duration of the agreement.
