I was wondering if you can recommend me a sampler VSTi that can be used with my own samples like the NN19 in Reason.

create shortcut files to your sample folders and put them in the vstplugins folder eg
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins\Samplers\ShortCircuit\database\samples\My_Samples.lnk
that should get you started.
what i like is it's really easy to replace samples to audition different ideas.
a few bugs like it doesnt remember your folder when you close the GUI, so you have to browse back to it when you re-open, but apart from that it's pretty good.

The best sample player is NI Kontakt 4 but it's also the most expensive. If you want to buy it it Makes sense to buy Komplete 6 like i did now...kaloyan wrote:Hiya guys.

Kontakt could import many different formats and you could use many synthesis and FX features.
A cheaper alternative is Ableton Sampler (included in the Live Suite) but you'll need Ableton Live to run it.
If you want to do crazy things with your samples you could use Camel Audio Alchemy which is besides the sample import one of the best synths ever.

I doubt that I will get Kontakt 6 because my PC is not good enough for it - in fact I still use Cubase 3, because later versions run hardly
As far as the Camel Plug-in - I will try it for sure!
I have the Camel Space and it's I awesome. I guess it's the same with the
Audio Alchemy.

Version 2 is an unfinished alpha. Take version 1.1.2. It works perfectly!
