How the hell can you save the ensembles with a project in Live. Everytime I open it it goes back to the original snapshot.
Do I also have to make a snapshot?

Cant get the strange sample map generator to work. Just a bunch of odd java files ive never used before.

Did you try saving it from within Reaktor rather than just saving the Live project?

Remember that Reaktor asks you where you'd like to save your project files every time you open it in Live. I've started making a ReaktorSave folder for each project folder now...

i dont know what 'strange sample map generator' they supply but if its the one i made then the instructions are here :

i.e. osx : double click the jar file, windows : install java, double click the jar file.

The mistake I made at first was to extract it to my desktop. There were just a bunch of folders and files that made no sense! But, when I looked in my DL file, the app was there. So, try checking the place where you DL'd it to, rather than where you extracted it. I hope that makes sense!

How do I do that? OSX seems to automatically convert it into a folder.
And if I double click the jar file it's treated as a folder. Is there any application I need to open it with?

In addition to various small fixes, Vortex 1.1 has the following NEW FEATURES:


1. Double-click to reset parameter knobs to default value
Double-clicking on a parameter knob on the A-view resets the knob to the default value.

2.Bipolar Swing with scene memory
Click and drag the swing button in either direction to add alternate shuffle/ swing to your rhythms. The swing and swing is*stored with the scene you're working on.

3. Zero-Modulation Sequencing
Turn on zero-modulation sequencing by clicking the necessary 'z' buttons on the sequencer tabs. When on for a given*sequencer, that sequencer will send zero-values for steps that are set to zero.

4. Randomization Exclude Buttons
The B-View now features randomization exclude buttons. This way you can choose which parameters/modulators you would like to be randomized. When cyan colored, that parameter will be randomized. When grey, it won't be randomized. This is especially useful if you'd like to exclude parameters like volume and pan from being randomized.
