Last week, my 8 year old son, Jomei, asked if it would be possible to do a fund-raiser for the kids and people of Haiti. He said that he would like to sell his best song and donate the proceeds to the disaster relief through the Canadian Red Cross.
Well, 5 days later we are live with our little Haitian fund-raiser. Jomei recorded a special dedication as an intro to the song. I gave it my best mix. We have great cover artwork, so it will look great on your fancy iPods. The song is called True Friend - Haitian Relief Mix and it is available now!
So far, we have raised a total of: $376.47 !
It was co-written by Jomei and I, and it features Jomei on vocals, bongos, djembe and marimba. It features our youtube (and reaper) friends and on keys and flute.
