Once again I fired up my Mastering:Channel and
as announced at the end of 2009 here is the sequel of
"mastEr Pieces" !
A lot of work has gone into this and I wanna thank
all the artists included for their collaboration !

awesome Daniel! Thanks for all your hard work on this. Can't download now as I'm at work but it will be my first job when I get home

Some cool tracks in there, I especially like the Cosmic Passenger one, but Eko Centrik, Dizzy Thang and Polyslax's tracks are also very good!
The rest I don't particularly like, and the Caro J track sounds weird, thin and quite distorted. Did something go wrong there?

Absolutely important is that these tracks are basically handmade

and not some ITB plugin-automation-orgy,

which is a particular concern of mine !

In addition this EP is especially about the sound !

No doubt these are all killer tracks !

1. - Nice groovy track, great to hear some winds. Are you playing in this?
2. - Not much of a clubber meself, but it sounds great.
3. - This is sweet, love the acoustic bass and the relaxed atmosphere.
4. - Aww, one of my faves by Sarah, and a classy retake.
5. - Interesting piece... jazzy, theatrical.
6. - Beautiful... well, I love SRV, so...
7. - Yeah, nice and funky for sure.
8. - Wow, you definitely squeezed a lot more out of this track than I did. Much fuller mix.

ok Daniel... not too detailed, but here's some comments on the tracks:

1) Old-skool funk flavours... groovy as hell! Lovely horns I think the German rapping may be an acquired taste for a refined Englishwoman such as myself

2) Bouncy boppy poppy club track. Not my favourite genre, but sounds solid with a commercial polish.

3) Beyond gorgeous! Hans playing Trilian like a master I think this is my favourite. The mix and master stand out too. Very clean, warm and polished sound. Great work Daniel and Hans!

4) Did I say the last one was my favourite? I meant this one! Who is this suprememly talented woman? Why isn't she doing lunch with Beyonce and shopping for shoes with Lady Gaga? I'm sure it's only a matter of time...

5) Wacky cinematic jazz vibes. Wish I could understand what he was singing...

6) Aaaahhhh... just beautiful. Lazy summer daze... great guitar work, warm sweet sound. Top banana

7) Funky old skool 80s styleee! very cool...

8. All trax from the Slax are alright by me! This one is particularly beautiful. Think I must have missed it first time around, but I love it! Cinematic, melancholy, thought-provoking... Like you say, a perfect end to the EP.
