I think we're the only ones playing!
"Little Fluffy Clouds". It's a gorgeous piece by The Orb, built around samples from an interview with Rickie Lee Jones blathering on about Arizona skies, Steve Reich's "Electric Counterpoint" and Ennio Morricone's "The Man With The Harmonica" from "Once Upon a Time in the West". |

Hello fellas
It's way over my head at the moment (without Googling), so I was wondering if you'd fancy making the thread as a 'guess the album /single cover' instead 'cos that would be a winner for simpletons like me! EDIT - actually the more I think about it, nope I don't think this album cover (artwork) idea will work too well as there's very few albums without the artist's name splashed across the front! Sorry for the hi-jack and also for this foolish irrelevancy. As you were... Last edited by Doug1978-OLD on Mon May 03, 2010 12:01 pm; edited 1 time in total |

@ The Fex - Correct. (It is a lovely track, definitely one of my Desert Island Discs.)
@ Doug - not exactly sure what you mean by 'guess the album cover', and you are allowed to google for the answer if you want |

As you wish....
This is my claim to fame. I found this old Dansette in a skip right outside my apartment, and gave it to a friend, the sleeve artist for.... what band? ![]() |

I wish I could find stuff like that in skips!
I can't decide whether it's familiar or not. It kind of looks like something out of the Yellow Submarine - the bald chap could even pass for Peter Blake, but somehow I doubt that Sgt Pepper's is the answer here. If it features on an album released in the last 10 years then I'm probably unlikely to have seen it. |
