Ok, sorry, I'm not gonna get finished tonight ...but had another listen through, added to my notes, and kinda know where my votes are going.
Despite the immense general quality of the tracks in this comp, voting is actually a little bit easier than usual because there are a few tracks in there which are absolutely stunning!!! .... and although I need to have one more listen before I can post my verdict, it will only be to improve my feedback/reviews .. and to tease out the points between said stunning tracks ... so forgive the suspense. tomorrow! ... I promise!
... Anyway, I do have some time to do a count up ... so I'll get onto it now

Well, in terms of places, not a great deal happening ... but try tell that to Mac and Mike ...
... both of whom break ahead of tied places.
But in terms of points, it's all getting rather interesting ... and possibly a teensy bit sweaty up at the top!
.... not so long ago, this comp was looking well won, but now, only 10 points seperate 1st place and 3rd! ...... ( wheres that popcorn icon???
) ... yeahhhh this is what we want! So with 4 days to go, we officially have a nailbiter!!

Sorry guys, been one of those days ... I've not been able to do much with my reviews, but here they are ....
Blender A - lovely weird sounds ... like hammered strings ... too short.
Blender B - ominous rumbly opening, dark mood of anticipation, a powerful bed to build on, but again, too short ... shame, I would have loved to have heard this develop.
Drunkdelia - early 80s percs to start. Crawling, drooling bass then it starts to talk! Surging filtered sounds ... a lot of movement. Simplicity of composition countered by the constantly evolving sounds. Good sounds, effective
Escape - Kinda chippy! interesting arps/melodies, thick edgy lead/pad, good use of filtering ... beautiful soft synth sound in the middle which straddles accordian and melodica. .... dont know how many sounds in here as they morph so fluently .... more sounds than instruments is one way of putting it! lovely composition, and excellent production
Flexture - soundscape to start, then some dark rock with great percussion good strong sounds all round, excellent production which gives immense freedom to the sound changes, lovely sense of space. film soundtrack?
Get tarnce - oooh scary!!! I feel like some of those sounds are made of something more substantial than vibrations in the air ... but thankfully, every time they fly at me they miss me by a hairsbreadth!!
This is superb! .... any time I want to remind myself what stereo is all about, I'll play this one!
great production and composition, excellent sounds, and a fantastic experience!
Hyper - Interesting opening ... very dynamic, threatening and enchanting at the same time. Sells the synth well in that the all the sounds have real texture.
MOTION - Nice trick ... the gentle intro ... then send in the cybersnakes to hypnotise the listener. Great production, excellent use of stereo field and cool sounds shifting around ... evokes images of driving at high speed under partial tree cover as flickering patterns of light and colour flutter past on either side ... beautiful.
Nilbog - Tense opening, feels like being stalked through a power station!
Blue - Cool almost soul vibe to this at the outset .... nice hard bass to tie the rhythm together, and quality lead sound .... I'm on another journey .. this time through a more open landscape, dunno if I'm sailing or flying, but I know I dont care, and in no hurry to get off whatever I'm on .... beautiful rich track. Composition fairly simple, but dripping with detail
Prime - (OK, I know its not in the comp, but I reviewed the tracks blind with this one in the mix ) ...oooooh now we're getting deep down and dirty ... if the the technology had been around, this is what 1950s sci-fi movies would have sounded like... and yet there's a certain humour in the composition ... reminiscent of ...dare I say .. The residents??
great production of a track which simply throbs!
Rosemary - eeerrrr ... this has to be mrblitz ( as I say, I'm doing a blind listen ) ... well it's got me somewhere I dont know if I want to be ... but evaluating by the second .... trouble is, if trouble comes, I dont know where to run! I dont know if I'm being offered things, or they're being thrown at me. Cool track,
Age - lovely thick slurpy bass sweeps through and keeps all in order ... in factalmost all sounds tend to sweep between molten polystyrene and velvet, and sweep me along on a comfortable bed of warmth and ... kik lacks bite though, and a bit of a lack of high freq overall.
Allosaurus - short, so difficult to review .. shame really, the lo end had some real 'pump' to it which could have carried a lot more input.
Tungusta - bells, knives, a calling to prayer, middle eastern .. in a vast building, looking around but feeling watched ... beautiful sounds, great mix/production, space, then ends to quickly ... even though it's a healthy 3 mins 14 secs.
