i was there man
f**king warzone.

i didnt even know anything was happening in town, jumped on a bus to go see a mate about a "dog"
got off the bus and there where police EVERYWHERE , figured there was asome football on or some such
as im walking down oldham street, all of a sudden i hear shouting, sirens and basically all hell breaking loose. 4 police cars hurtled past me followed by two ambulances.
from the turn the cars and ambulances took around 50 young asian lads come running screaming, being chased toward me by a gang of lads in painter masks or cycling masks (you know the filter type things).
so i sidestepped into the shop next to me, which was that dodgy cheap looking sex shop next to chase, i honestly dont know which was more scary

waited for that to pass then went off to my pals place, in the middle of the northern quarter.
sat watching the mayhem from his front room, luckily several floors up, but wondering how the feck i was getting home as buses where now apparently being turned away from town, and i really didnt want to get caught up anywhere by a group of either side, as in my opinion even the UAF (unite against fascism) played this the wrong way, imo shouts of "OO AR YA?" football hooli style is not peaceful protesting

still, i have to admit there is nothing more funny than a nazi getting nightsticked

Glad ya didn't get caught up in it by accident (although you sort of did do - sex shop is ropey as f**k ) but without any physical injuries.
The UAF is a good idea, yet like i thought it would be has already been tainted/pretty much become a perfect opportunity for bnp types to sneak in, mouth off and fight albiet under a differnet moniker/cause
I know them white dust filter mask things well as my Uncle is a painter and decorator

Anyways i have some material pretty much done, now its just a case of uploading the stuff/if my connection will do it man.
