but I did nothing because I was not a drummer.
... then they came for the bassists ... with their enveloped waveforms and 1024 stage memories.
But I did nothing for I had no sympathy for quiet guys who would buy my girl a drink from the money I paid them as way of talking her into my bed for a shag when I was convinced he had gone home to his own.
Then they came for the organists and pianists with their midi and synthesised sounds,
But still I did nothing for I was neither a plinker nor a plonker, and realised not the power said instrumentalists would gain at the expense of others by way of the technology that a simple case of skills transfer would allow them to take advantage of.
Then they came for the skills transferred keyboard players with their improved midi commands, their unlimited sequencing capacity, and step sequencing, note correction, sampling etc
But I did nothing because I was so shit on the keyboard I laughed as they turned up at my door with pizza in hand while I was composing slowly on my 'qwerty'
Then they came for the guitarists with their vstis with accompanying vast sample libraries that a qwerty-man could access with one finger.
But I did nothing because I was never a fantastic guitarist anyway, and had long moved on to mandolin and bouzouki and making a very nice living thank you very much!
And then ....
