Navigate around your live set with the touch of a finger, tweak Lives mixer, instruments and fx with full automapping and unlimited tracks & parameters.
touchAble allows live users to walk away from their computer and perform live from anywhere within Wi-Fi range while keeping latency at a minimum.
Play your favourite synths with the unique double keyboard or record your rhythms with the 16 drum pads, including 5 velocity steps & octave selectors.
Access the most important transport and clip functions without losing focus on your set and tweak the same set with two iPads with the unique Dual-User-Mode.
do you need to adjust volume, launch a new clip and play a device? Don't worry - a smart and intuitive screen menu empowers the user to arrange and switch modules on the fly.

touchAble does not require any midi-mappings as it uses LiveOSC to communicate directly with the LiveAPI.

 :hihi:

Looks like you put in alot of work designing this app! Cannot wait to try it when it comes out.

just divagating some ideas to make the "minority report" future better :)
J_martins, I don't know what your first language is, but in English I can't understand your point at all.

Wasn't I talking about the expression that you can't have in a touchscreen device?

Heh, I didn't even notice your location, but I could tell from your sentence construction. I kind of got the feeling you were unhappy with lack of velocity information, but it was hard to tell. I get your point, I love a good controller, especially with aftertouch, but this iPad app seems more as a DAW control surface than something that's going to replace your Novation Remote. It lacks some things, but on the other hand has a lot of things a standard midi controller doesn't. Different animals. Think about it, many early synths didn't have velocity. The horror! I'm mad polyphonic aftertouch fell out of favor.

touchable is a bit buggy. doesn't always detect clips have to continually reload the clips with the button. touchosc/livecontrol on the other hand seem fine. i'm guessing this thing is going through growing pains.

would be great if it worked reliably and accurately.

*edit* after futzing with the wifi a bit, i've got a super strong wifi signal and it performs MUCH better with this better wifi.

I'm impressed!
Few euros for this mighty powerful controller, it is just awesome. Ableton users, that justifies your purchase of the iPad!
Lemur, sorry but bye bye...apc40 , you are still cute but becareful...

This app is great. Just looking forward to a sequencer to input notes in midi clips.

APC40 will never be replaced though. You can never beat physical knobs, sliders and buttons. But the ipad has turned into a great little portable control surface for Live.

well, depends your use, touchAble + a little knobs surface controller (doepfer pocket or something else) it's enought, apc40 is cool but too big and redondant with the use of touchAble...

But the good thing is that the choice with controllers is huge!!!
