Just found a great article.
Urs heckmann is working on a free synth called tyrell. the german amazona online magazin created a dreamsynth with the help of all amazona readers. ( only on paper ) They are looking for a company that builds the hardware then. Now, Urs the proposal made this synth to build this synth also as a plugin. Maybe the first beta around christmas ! Read about Tyrell here: Only in german http://www.amazona.de/index.php?page=26&file=2&article_id=32 02 http://www.amazona.de/index.php?page=26&file=2&article_id=31 91 |

I followed the Amazona discussion from the beginning. It's amazing that there is a chance that Tyrell really becomes reality! I can't wait to try the software version. It will be called Tyrell N6 by the way (You know....Tyrell and Nexus 6 from Blade Runner) Cheers Dennis ---- Back from the dead - Sorry if I didn't answer your mails/PM/whatever during the last few months. I hope everything will be back to normal soon. Life can take some shitty turns sometimes. |

Tom Bombadil was a KVR member before the Great Upheaval. Some from those days once thought I was one too, but I think they've realized it's not so; I am a comparative newcomer.
I just finished reading a book with a character named Clinton Tyrell, a former governor of Florida who dropped out of civilization and became a covert anti-development loose cannon. Carl Hiaasen's "Star Island," one of several that include "Skink," as he's now known to those few who know him. If you like twisted (and funny) stories of crime and craziness, grab you some Hiaasen NOW. [edit] Mistake; it's Clinton Tyree. Near enough.
