Bubba my man, this is great, another trip into eclecticdom:

Love the vocal filter sounds. I have to say, I'm not too keen on the cut & paste vocals, but I see what you were aiming at. But that chunky muted synth...funk it is! Yes! Another cool track.

Yeah! That's it! Swamp Funk. This shakes my booty!mcnoone wrote:Here's a short funky loop with a clav.

Excellent drums/rhythm/bass. All it needs now, is a break with a synth solo. The clav cuts to give way to a classic Moog solo. Smoke it.
Love this track!

Wow, how do I love these guys - let me count the ways. I am 58 yrs. old. I've never heard of these dudes. Love the legs on the keyboards. Nice sounding string synth.monopoli wrote:I guess you already know Chromeo (the current kings of synthfunk) but since they haven't been mentioned yet, here they are:

Can this get any better? Only if they perform that steam bath scene in my living room.

One more look while the wife is out with the kids...
According to the news flash there, they will be playing in London on 29/04 - while I'm away ... nooooooooooooooo !

One to buy, definitely. Except, i'm an old fart and want a CD, but no such exists. It's all downloads. Everywhere, even the label itself!
I've got to move with the times, I suppose.
