Also, I just added Autogun to the list of synths - Zen is perfect for managing and sharing the best Autogun presets.

Interesting, 1st time I see this.

Thanks for this.

btw, when I loaded the standalone version and had to select the asio drivers, the list of available asio drivers was all listed in chinese. The rest was in english.
I can send you a picture in the e-mail if you want.

Also I keep getting a log error on loading the vst plugins or the standalone app.
something about default.log

Ahh, yes, I have this too - this is a small bug added when migrating to VstGui4 (that uses unicode for everything). Can you use savihost instead of the standalone ? It should work much better anyway.

The error about the logs is probably because you already have an instance of the standalone running, I guess.

I'm using it in audiomulch, it's running no prob.

You are right about more instances running. Actually it was 4 hehehe. I don't know how I managed but it's fine now.

Really cool plug. Since it's free, isn't this sucking bandwidth on your side to download presets?

Great! Thanks!

What about a short mp3/wav preset preview, downloadable... Before purchasing a preset?

TabSel, you won't need that - you will be able to preview the actual preset, in the context of your track. It will simply drop notes randomly until purchased.

Oh and by the way - to edit the name of a local preset, just double-click it (in the lower right).

Clever. I presume that users will be prevented from opening the instrument's UI to prevent them from manually copying the patch settings?

Also clever Smile

Edit: Not sure if dropping notes will be "enough", though...

Yes, exactly. The UI also closes if you open it first, and then select a commercial preset.

You agree that being able to actually play the preset is much better than previewing it with a mp3 Smile

Well, sure, I guess you could still record samples of some notes, and make something out of them. But frankly, since you can buy presets by the unit, would you do this when you can have the full preset for about 10 cts, one click away?

Infinitely. Cool

I think note dropping works too.

No, I won't.

But, to be honest, I wouldnt care about exactly this one sound, if it wasn't an absolutely effortless "one click"-micropayment experience, where any workaround to get near this sound needs only a few more clicks.

May be short noise bursts within the audio Stream of an unpurchased preset will make the workaround more of a hassle? Unsure...

It will definitely be a one-click thing (provided you have credits on your account already).
