nice
..... I think that I do not want the melodyne stuff (could have something to do with the fact that I NEVER EVER EVER do vocals
) But for some reason I feel the version that has it will also have something else I want

They dont announe it as world exclusive, so we might see it materialising before mid-Nov ?!

you can use melodyne for lots of things besides vocals... shoring up the timing of a guitar riff, for instance, or autocorrecting minor intonation issues. as long as it's monophonic, it's good.hibidy wrote:nice

Wait. I was under the impression that Melodyne worked with polyphonic sources too. That's why it can fix guitar intonation in chords, no?chroma wrote:you can use melodyne for lots of things besides vocals... shoring up the timing of a guitar riff, for instance, or autocorrecting minor intonation issues. as long as it's monophonic, it's good.hibidy wrote:nice

I have two really nice convo verbs too (reverberate and reflektor) so not really interested in that either.
I think though all the other stuff is WANT! Especially all the comping/groove/quantize improvements
That is really what I thought was missing.
Oh, another thing I wonder is how much better the meters will be.

Ehm, Melodyne is not only for vocals. I use it for EVERYTHING but vocalshibidy wrote:nice

I use it on instruments and even on drums for getting them in tone.
