Hi there!

I've just installed Rhino CM (the free version that comes with the DVD from Computer Music magazine) and was trying to follow instructions on how to create my own sound - NOT using any of the presets that come with it. However, the Bank interface does not contain any [Empty preset]s as demonstrated in the pictures in magazine walk-through. And it is from those that they show how to create a brand new sound (that starts off as a pure sine tone). Neither can I find how to create a new instance/synth or at least duplicate an existing preset, save as brand new and reset all parameters, so that I could create my own from scratch.

So could somebody please help explain how to do that in Rhino CM?! Where can I find the [Empty preset]?

Thanks!

Pick a preset (e.g. Strogoss Core. Highlight it, right click, clear. Use the same right click to save your new prest. To recall Strogoss Core at any point, select the Rhino CM default bank (Bank Select, top right).

Oh, and look at audiomidi's $20 full Rhino if you like the CM version.
