I'm going to turn a nearly HGF forgotten gem of the past to Freeware.
1. very 1st Protoplasm Pro (recompiled - details see below), or, 2. Shuniji Pro (recompiled plus some changes - details see below), or 3. LaserBlade (probably as is) had been poll - results: Quote: ProtoPlasm Pro 29% [47] Shuniji Pro 42% [69] LaserBlade Pro 27% [45] Total Votes : 161 If feedback here is great, let's say over 120 votes and at least 5 pages of comments I'll put out two of the above. This poll runs for 21 days. Anyway the 1st item will be made available when 90 votes have been reached - or shortly after that depending what the most voted item at that time is. ProtoPlasm is basically ready while Shuniji still needs some attention. So it's up to you! spread the info and make others vote too HG Download for all NFG VSTi plus some more: http://archive.org/details/HGFortuneNFG Altair-4b-2012 Atonoise-P LaserBlade-Pro-2011 LaserBlade-S-Pro-2011 Old-Swamp.zip (1st Swamp - not recompiled!) ProtoPlasm-Pro-2011 Shuniji-Pro-2011 SilverOrbit STS-21Pro-2011 STS-24Pro-2012 STS-26Pro-2012 X-WoF4-Pro-2012 other freeware: Z-HGF-WoF-1c (HGF's very 1st VSTi plugin originally late 2003) Z-Percumat2-Free Z-Plutonia-Free

ProtoPlasm Pro with internal patch selector, patch renaming & managing (Load/Save), wave selectors as popup. Internal Sf2 with 2 banks (incl. original bank for patchcompability)
Shuniji Pro (Cǎihóng bǎo = rainbow treasure / free edition 2011) with some more tweaks: patch selector, patch renaming & managing (Load/Save), CG with free run / retrig mode, different CG design showing current position, CG with Soft-Stepped slider and more tempo options (1/1 to 1/64), wave selectors as popup, new knobs, modified output section with a little reverb added. Internal Sf2 with 2 banks (incl. original bank for basic patchcompability)
with internal patch select, patch (re-)name & manage ok here you go: added Dec., 6th 2011: Hoh, hoh, hoh, not 1 but 2: LaserBlade S Pro 2011

I don't think I've heard of any of them as those were around before I got into vsti's. But I did make a selection: Shunji for me. Thanks for the kindness of setting one of your vst's free! Last edited by jsp1979 on Wed Nov 09, 2011 6:14 am; edited 1 time in total |

Since Protoplasm is the only one I've used, that's the one I voted for. Hey, beggers can't be choosers. Anything is great. ---- Steve Conslaw Put your hands up and come out slowly. He has a synthesizer, and he's not afraid to use it. |

I own all three, but Protoplasm was my first love. I believe it's the oldest of those mentioned, and definitely has that unique character. ---- Berfab So many plugins, so little time... |

Shuniji Pro looks like it could be very cool, so that is my first selection. If I had a second choice it would Lazerblade Pro. I think that would be cool as well. Whatever the final outcome is, I will be there to download the winner. I am always looking for new tools to play with. If they happen to be free, so much the better. |
