I've noticed that the output (volume, level, pick a term) of a Bus Send effect in Live is much lower than Logic. This is kind of frustrating. Since I'm new to Live, I was wondering if there's some preference I'm missing, something I need to change?
Clarifying:
- Set up an effect as a Bus Send on both of these DAWs... try a 3rd party plugin that you own... let's say, VahallaRoom or Shimmer, or Audio Damage EOS in my case.
- Setting the effects to 100% wet, of course
- Leave the effect channel's level at 0db in both DAWs (default)
- Just pump a loop through your send channel, turn the appropriate Bus Send knob, and listen. Why does, say, 10 o'clock worth of effect in Live not sound live 10 o'clock worth in Logic? Heck, 3-o-clock in Live sounds like 12-o-clock in Logic.
This is so frustrating for me personally, since I'm finding I can't get the washes of verb I use via in Logic/Mainstage, per channel. Live doesn't seem to have the same Bus Send Level, or Bus Channel output or... something's missing.
