Sounds really muddy and gross...fun guitar riffs though.

Gross? That's a peculiar way to describe.......I have finally reached grossness, in my grosses hour! Turn down the gross just a wee bit there would you?

Anyway. I am finding it difficult mixing a live guitar within FL Studio along with bass and drum vsti's.

I cleaned it up!

It works well, good guitar playing and following of that w/bass, doesn't go far without any vocals. Drums are too studio-ish, needs some fx.

You certainly did! I think you should consider taking down the volume on the bass a little. It seems to be a lot louder than the drums and is taking attention away from the guitar just a little.

When I am mixing in EnergyXT, I don't always believe what my level indicators are telling me, particularly when mixing audio and VST tracks. I use the indicators as a guide, but tend to trust my ears.

Thanks for the tips. No vocals equals half ass song with these type of instruments. Can't sing, but maybe I can round up some effects and give it a whirl.

I need two nice studio speakers instead of 4 older decent but not good for mixing speakers. I'll take the advice about the bass.

Thanks again.
