Looks amazing. I've got some pretty good Emu samples in Kontakt format but this is far better and in similar fashion to Bitley's Fairlight stuff.
Shame you need an iLok....so I'll never buy it. :/

I think I'm going to start a petition USB to ditch ilok. I want toy museum and emulation so bad but hell would literally freeze over before me and my bros would use ilok anything.

iLok works beautifully these days. It's not like the old days.

But what about the original factory discs/content/samples, the same or different?hatethatiloveyou wrote:E-MU Emax is a different sampler from E-MU's Emulator IIbreakmixer wrote:If someone could enlighten me as too the difference presets wise to this below, you can click a demo to listen...are they similar or completely different?

Cheers, I was wondering if they were the same sample/sound content but a different machine, or thinking their may be overlap, both libraries are too expensive anyway for me, that DSF E-Max Kontakt library features alot of classic old school samples though, they only ever do 30% off sales, if it were $50/£50 I would consider that one, this new Emulation II library seems rather Depeche Mode-ish to me soundwise from the demo's, not something I'd want but seems good if you are into new wave/synth pop styles. Nice UI for the Workstation too. $199 + VAT though?hatethatiloveyou wrote:different

It looks and sounds fantastic, but neither have the cash, neither have the room in my studio, and nor have an Ilok dongle.
