I don't know why but I always feel like you are playing with a modular when you are producing. Lovely percussive tones. I think the drums could be lower

Thanks a million.

In this case just 5 or 6 instances of "marvin bassdrum"
pitched to form an almost harmonic puzzle.
So no modulars. Everything is slightly more simple.

One trick ponys run through filters eqs and delays and reverbs

Modulars are said to save you time. In my case the endless sound sculpting possibilities form a distraction. Greenoaks crystal for instance, if i start playing with that making a single sound can keep me busy for days. Simply because its so awesome. Thats why modulars are a bad idea for me. The less posibilities / choices the better. (for me)

I'll start it up again, just wanted to say it's very cool! Love how simple it is (the separate elements of it at least) and that you yet manage to puzzle it together to sound big anyway, in a sparse way... wait does that even make sense?

Yup...

@Emerald Tablet - You need a soundcloud page to follow - this is great. I've been attempting minimalism (one instrument, or patch, etc), but 40 years of music and I'm not quite as imaginative. IMHO it's harder to create this kind of minimalism than it is to create an entire genre production, where you have a "template" to follow and a world of sounds at your disposal. Great work.
