I understand Lennard in way that when plans exposed, public would try to make him "obligated" to set up sone tempo, some deadlines that are pain in the a**.
On the other side I agree that this complete silence is not doing any good. People are suspicious, it's natural. In this economic, when something looks dead, people have no choice but believe it is dead. As far as I wish Lennard another WOW! when he releases new product/update, I also hope he doesn't loose too much customers till then.
I still love Sylenth, but just look how many people switched to Dune in last year. It's sad. Sylenth IS better ... should be better.
(And at least it's OSC's still beats everything on the market...
)

we made the soundset work in 2.2.0chriselden wrote:there is a serious problem comming: all the last soundsets need the last beta of S1 to runit's the reason i didn't bought last vengeance and Aelyx soundsets
if we can't use lion just because of on plug and the main reason is that there is no more developping that's really bad
S1 is stuck and futur soundsets will only be for windows users...

So far so good, but the beta 2.21 seems to be running quite well for me in logic 9 (newest version) on lion 10.7.
I assume it is running as 32bit?
Any idea of updating my 10.7 to 10.7.2 will break anything?

Alas, I spoke too soon. I am experiencing weird stuck notes and unresponsiveness off/on
Ableton Live, which is 32 bit in Lion, is not much better.
Hmm...

u want to go back to the last official release.
this is what happened to me as well with the beta (logic, lion). plus lots of "cannot load sound" messages.
if need be, email lennard on how to revert...

Even the beta in ableton live 32bit on lion is buggy... So I guess this is primarily a lion issue?

Ok, so here is my experience, hopefully it will help others:
When I got my OSX Lion Macbook pro, I purchased the $199 Logic pro from the app store.
I installed Sylenth 2.21 latest release on it. So far so good.
Loaded up Logic, Sylenth1 opened but seemed to get stuck notes at times and lag.
Today I found out that Logic 9 boots 32 bit by default unless you "get info" on the app and uncheck "load in 32bit mode" (apparently that is selected by default?)
When I load logic in 64bit, Sylenth is located in the AU 32bit Instrument folder, and as stated earlier in this thread, will run in 32 bit bit bridge.
My experience with sylenth in bit bridge has so far been excellent.
So, long story short: Sylenth1 using BitBridge in Logic 64bit works well. Make sure you aren't trying Sylenth in 32bit Logic, as that is where it can be laggy/buggy.
Hope this helps, Sylenth sure does sound incredible, it still is very hard to beat as far as sonic quality / cpu goes

But but but ..
In what was a very rare and uncharacteristic post, Lennard did post that Sylenth1 is not dead, it is still being developed, and we can expect more updates/upgrades in future .. Does it really need to be spelled out any more clearly than that?

@fisherking:
I want to add to my previous statement of Sylenth1. It is not unresposive sometimes. Now it works perfectly. I have the Vengeance producer suite (Metrum and multiband sidechain). They where the root to my problems due to that they took over the keyboard and slowed the system down. Now I have downloaded the new versions of them and it works flawlessly! It was a huge difference for me. The presets in synlenth is changing directly when I hit the down arrow in the interface.
AND YES! I run Lion with all the latest updates and Logic 9.1.6. RME Fireface 800. And the latst beta of Sylenth1 offcourse!
I'm betting on Lennard. If he says he is working on it he is working on it. Come on! If you made a software that everyone is screaming for and a damn good one too. Would you abandon it? I bet we will see something during this year for sure! I'm not surprised if there will be something more in store. At least we Mac users have Sylenth when we can't get Z3ta+ 2.

I bought Metrum and MBS as well and they both use %70 CPU when viewing the GUI. I'm using them in Logic 32 bit. I can't even use them. I have downloaded the latest versions as well. How did you get them to run flawlessly?.

How do the 3rd party soundbanks load?. There was some mention earlier in the thread that 3rd party soundbanks didn't load when using Lion...

On the sylenth1 bank loading question: I believe I loaded Rob Lee's latest bank with no
Issues...
