Bwahahahaha ... links directly to a torrent page on The Pirate Bay here
Guess there must be some dispute about the contract.
Peace,
Andy.

Possibly the torrent was uploaded by Trent Reznor himself. There is some info on the Wikipedia page for the DVD ...

Ownership rights issues. The DVD was completed but never officially released due to disputes with how, where, when, how much, etc. This is an assumption based on my web reading the last several years. I could be wrong. Basic point is its Trent's material but he had no control over it. He doesn't take kindly to that kind of thing (no artist should). He posted a comment on NIN.com saying "this one's a guilt-free download. If you know what I'm talking about, then cool."
Take from that what you will. It's since been spread around very well. That's why I have a copy myself.

Back in the late 70s Frank Zappa was involved in some contractual issues with Warner Brothers.

Imagine the folks at these record companies who decide to take on certain artists...
Anyhow, during the dispute, Frank made an appearance on Pacifica Radio (KPFA) in Berkeley, as he occasionally did back in those days, in which he prompted us 'boys and girls' to get the recording equipment set up and then proceeded to play all of the music without commercial interrruptions. And, as was the case for many of us back then, we had to do as Frank ordered.Studio Tan is an album by Frank Zappa, first released in September, 1978 on his own DiscReet Records label. It reached #147 on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
The album's creation was spurred by Warner Bros.' rejection of Zappa's Läther album. After demanding more albums than Zappa was contractually obliged to provide and reediting the live album Zappa in New York, a lawsuit ensued, during which, Studio Tan, Sleep Dirt and Orchestral Favorites were issued without Zappa's permission.

the pacing of Lather was all about mixing the styles, going from a rock thing to an orchestral thing, where the unauthorized WB releases split them up into genre. Gail released a Lather CD in 1996 on Rykodisc.vkgphil wrote:those three albums comprised most of what Lather was if im not mistaken. I have to go look now to know for sure.
