Hello everyone,

I downloaded the new TVEC4 update Demo and am pretty impressed with the new Appregiator technology in it, very flexible and useful.
Can't wait for it to be fully released so I can update all my libraries.
What are your thoughts?

I had a quick play with it yesterday and was generally impressed! Seems like a nice, quick way of getting some cool patterns going. I'm going to be using it with Concert Strings 2 and Concert Brass 2.

I did have one thought though. Firstly, I would have liked duplets and triplets to stay as an option as I think they are nice and quick to use rather than having to navigate to the pattern editor every time you want them. Though there may be a preset for duplets and triplets in the pattern editor? I didn't get time to look.

Yes, really impressive! It's a pity that being the pattern editor hungry of notes the 500 demo notes finish quite soon

Just wondering? - do you need to buy a version for each product (Concert Strings 2, Solo Strings 2, Concert Brass 2, Pop Rock Strings, Diamond Strings and Brass, and Solo Strings 1)? Or only once?

I am presuming you will have to pay separately for each going by the upgrade pricing for TVEC 3. Which from the upgrade page offers it separately per product at $29 a pop.

I for instance would prefer a little bit of bundling for upgrades. I am not fussed about paying seperately for CB2 and CS2. However, I only bought the Whole and Half Divisions of CS2 and wouldn't be that keen on paying $29 to upgrade each division...

Not here, $29 is the TVEC 3 upgrade, TVEC4 upgrade is $99 (and only on CS II at the moment).

Can you post a link?

sorry, that didn't come out very clear from me. I was quoting the TVEC3 pricing for upgrade per instrument and assuming that there would be a similar pricing upgrade to TVEC 4.

just saw the pricing of $99 for CS2 on the site but doesn't look like you can actually purchase it as yet.

Hopefully when it does go live there it will include the other libraries or they will be made available in the not too distant future?

as $99 is the upgrade price for the whole CS2 bundle hopefully there will be a discounted path for individual divisions.

At $99 a pop and especially given the diy nature of KH libraries I'll have to think a bit before deciding to upgrade. I should hope that all of the current issues with missing notes, etc. would be fixed first. Has everything been fixed, btw?

Now the group buy makes so much sense. I don't have $200 for TVEC 4 (Diamond and Concert Brass II). Most likely, TVEC 4 is going to get rid of the bugs in TVEC 3. Sigh.

Yes, indeed, I'd like for the missing samples issues and whatnot to be resolved first.

The website has been updated. looks like it is $99 across the board with a $79 intro price.

I'm sure a lot of work went in to this but not sure if that is a little high for a step sequencer?

Or perhaps i'n being a little harsh?

I don't know, I think that the price is a bit too much. I'd be willing to pay about 65 dollars maximum for the upgrade, considering that the sounds themselves don't really change.

I've just looked at the website. The current versions of Concert Strings II, Concert Brass II and Diamond Orchestra include TVEC 3. Pop Rock Strings includes TVEC 2.

This all suggests to me the Kirk will continue to fix any buglets / hiccoughs in those products. That is, there will be updates to the TVEC 3 (and TVEC 2 in PRS) instruments. I guess that the TVEC 4 upgrade products will be updated in parallel.
