Hi everyone!

I have a little question concerning the synchronisation of Nexus' arpeggiator.

When I activate the drums of Image-Line's Groove Machine and pick a bass arpeggio from Nexus, I have to press a key, so the bass arpeggio syncronizes with the drums. But when I'm recording, everything what sounded synced when I played it, sounds now not in time as I played it. The bass' arpeggio speed is 1/16 and my Cubase Master Tempo is 4/4. I tried changing it to 1/8 or 1/16 but nothing helped. Does it have something to do with quantization? How can I let both of them be synced all the way, also when I record both? My drums are recorded on an audio track and the bass arpeggio on a MIDI track.

Any help is appreciated.

This is from the manual:
Groove Machine will loop up to and including the number of bars with note data in them provided you press Play THEN Record. If you press Record then Play, Groove Machine will loop the entire 8 bars of the Pattern.

Are you pressing buttons in the right order?

Are you pressing buttons in the right order?

I guess you are the hero here... This seemed to have solved my problem! I thought this has something to do with Nexus itself! Thank you so much! The only problem is that when I press record in Cubase, the play button on Groove Machine activates automatically, so I have to deactivate it and then activate it again so that everything is synced. Also, when I want to listen what I recorded and press the play button in Cubase, Groove Machine's play button activates automatically as well! Is it avoidable somehow?

I would see if there's something in the settings. On both ends, Cubase and GM.
