I need to do a wide +1, 0, -1 octave pitchbend effect for about 3 seconds of a jingle I'm doing. What synth, preferably a free one, can offer a pitchbend range up and down of one octave?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Registered Parameter Number 00H sets the pitch bend sensitivity:
MSB = +/- semitones
LSB = +/- cents
See table 3a here: http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midimessages.php
So any synth that understands these standard MIDI RPNs should obey the pitch bend range you have set it to. The implementation chart will tell you weather it does or not.
