Hi
Side-chaining and layering of two (or three) bass lines I'd say (at a guess, a low sine and a higher, distorted trance 'hoover' style sound).
Your own bass line is not too far off, but has a different timbre.
What particular questions do you have in mind regarding making that bass sound?

I heard this on XM yesterday. I have to say, when I looked down and saw James Blunt on the radio scroll I was like
Great remix.
Great remix.
