No feedback then ?
Oh well, it's all good. Smile
At the end of the day I'm happy with the material and one has to please themselves first and foremost.
I not really active on these forums much anymore and prefer to be an active lurker (if that makes any sense).
Gives me more time to focus on music and lot less time getting caught up in forum talk (which i found was an easy trap to fall into) so I've mended my bad habits some.

don't know if it was my lack of the right player codec for your embedded player, but the your player buttons were just blinking play - pause -play - pause... no sound.

What OS etc -
I've tested the player in XP / Windows 7 64 & 32 bit / OSX lion 64 Bit and they all play fine.
When you hit a black play button it goes to green "pause" and then a pale off hite bar scrolls from left to right as it buffers before playing.
Just tested on 3 machines here and it's working fine. Confused

I haven't listened to the EP yet, but the Say remix is really good. Lovely sounds, well produced and more that a hint of the William Orbit stuff from 10+ years ago.

Nice work.

Win XP / Firefox
If your site is using flash player under java, that might explain it. I have a firefox extention running which hides flash adverts unless I select it. If java is over top , I can't see or select the flash icon. I'll add your site as an exclusion and that should do it.
EDIT: Excluding your site from my flash blocking didn't correct it.
You buttons still only blink from pause to play and back continuously with no other actions. Never saw this happen anywhere before now.

Thanks for the feedback = I'll look into it.

PS: You can stream the EP on band camp now if you're interested.

Might float your boat.

I have only tested in Safari, Google Chrome, IE so i might have to contact Virb as they have created the player I have used.
You don't mind if I copy and paste your reply to their tech support to look into the issue do you ?

Might be wrong...but sure sounds like you have been influenced by the likes of '70s Miles Davis , Herbie Hancock and Jon Hassell. It has a nice mix of glitch, jazz and funk all washed in a glaze of African rhythms. I'm liking this.
EDIT: liked it enough to purchase a copy. Can't wait to hear it louder in .flac format !

Yep huge fan of Hassel, Davis, Arve Henricksen, Classical, 70's Mowtown, IDM, Clicks&Cuts, PFunk, Detroit Techno, Eno, Reich Cage etc .....
This truly was a labour of love I might add and I poured my heart and soul into it.
Here's hoping the hard work has paid off.
Thanks for the support Smile

It's fine, and sounds good.
How good, is yet to be noticed cause I keep getting interrupted by daily nonsense. Mad
I've tried to listen to it through twice now and yet another interruption from the water department. They had a man come to change a transmitter. Then this week I receive a notice they can't gain entry to change the transmitter. I call them and they don't have a record of him being here. For fun I tell the woman that i'm calling the police since there is a man posing as a department serviceman gaining entry to peoples homes! HiHi She tells me that I should call. haha

Now really, how would the man that came in know the transmitter was bad.
Must have been an 'inside' job. Maybe I should call the FBI. Laughing

EDIT: I have to add this, in order as not to sound like a hypocrite.
I've noticed some portion of this seems to be sequential pattern automation in Reaktor. I claimed in a Reaktor generated song post I made earlier, that I thought that it's cheating, and not representing true creative talent. What i'm hearing that doesn't sound like that is really awesome shit and i'm enjoying it a lot.

I only use Reaktor in standalone mode these days to create custom sample patches (NN19 & NNXT) and individual drum hits for use in Kong - the track in question would be the opening track which uses GoBox, Vierring and LimeLite, none of the other tracks where created that way I might add, Hunab Ku, Ezekiels Trumpet, Narcoleptic and Midsummers Night where all 100% sequenced from the ground up and whilst I must confess that Midsummers Night uses presets from Kubik's "Ambient Textures" bank, I programmed that entire bank from scratch for Jon @ Concrete FX so they where all my own sound creations.
(Just for the record Reaktor is an NFR version used on a rather old P4M XP based laptop) - my main DAW is Reason 6 with Audacity and the rather excellent Michael Norris granular/spectral effects suit + MPC2500 and hardware (JD990, D550, K2000R, Ultraproteus, Prophecy, QS8.1).
Can I confess to arranging, mixing and producing the entire end product in Reason 6 as I don't use a VST host at all anymore. The SSL desk is actually quite flexible once you dig in.
The work in progress on my site "Twitch" (it will be reworked for a new release) doesn't use a single VST at all for example, nor does my "Say" remix either and I'm quite adept at getting Reason to sound as f**ked up as anything Reaktor can throw out.
My reasons for abandoning a VST/AU host have been for the simple fact that certain plug-ins can make one a tad lazy and it is far more rewarding to work hard for your end results and the last 4 tracks in particular do IMHO bare testament to that fact I feel.
That said Logan's Run would not have been possible without the excellent time stretching algo's in Reason 6 IMHO which where abused to very good effect and the arrangement was cut, pasted, stretched, compressed and manipulated to hell and back.
Glad you're enjoying it none the less. Very Happy

trying twitch which starts very insect like. The bass part, yes, kind of updated bitches brew sound with itchy scritchy synth bits instead of the horn.
Uber cool bass tone. Great quietly all over the place beats. Cool stuff. Do you call this Nu Jazz ???

Never really given it a name - I sort of associate new Jazz with the likes of Arve Henriksen, Jan Bang , Nine Horses, Erik Trufazz, Flanger, Burnt Friedman and co. In all honesty I just got for a certain vibe, feel or communication in whatever I compose/write. People can assign what ever genre / label they like to it though and I have no problem with that.
