so...the wife woke up early today and now i have to explain to her that this is NOT the Gearslutz i usually frequent...
..."you're so full of sh!t" she says...

(honestly, i love that pinkish red color...the usual blue is kind of boring after a while...)

Then I changed my DNS settings to opendns.com's and its back to normal.

Hey guys

It is indeed a DNS problem - not a hijack in this case, but a simple bloody typo. And those that have already commented on DNS propagation taking time are exactly right. So the site is coming back online slowly around different parts of the world - depending on what DNS server you use, you may or may not be able to see/use the site. It could be tomorrow AM before it's 100% sorted, but fingers crossed it'll be quicker. We do apologise if you opened up the page at work or in front of your SO!

The good news is that the stupid holding page isn't spreading anything malicious (no viruses or anything) - it's just propagating itself based on the "keywords" in the site name... there is a downside to being too rock n' roll sometimes.

If you click the first link in Google you get soft porn. Personally, I think it's kind of stupid to put such soft core pics next to links like Handj*& Video, but that's me. I found this link which seems to work:
