I would like to consolidate your valuable feedback and suggestions on this thread as I keep working on this skin.

Just a couple of things that stick out, IMHO:
Frankly, the 'TYRELL N&' logo looks outright terrible - Photoshop Layer effect 'Glow' with the default yellow colour? Yak! And why is the Chorus module title in lower case but a much bigger font size than the corresponding all caps title of the other modules? Third, a deep red background to black text isn't ideal for legibility in the top simulated LCD. All IMHO, of course… Kind regards, Joachim ---- If it were easy, anybody would do it! |

I'm waiting for a much brighter skin vor v2.0.
The original v1.0's creme colored skin was near perfect to me. ---- How can I get that mp3-player out of my brain?! |

It;s looking like the Tone 2 Saurus now. I found out from Polly8 people don't like red LCD's. I don't like the faux wood borders either. Make it all black like the bastard child of a Moog and a Juno. |

That was a bad move at the last minute on the logo T-CM11 wrote: I don't like the gray border & lines...
Will see if I can come up with something better. osiris wrote: It;s looking like the Tone 2 Saurus now. I found out from Polly8 people don't like red LCD's. I don't like the faux wood borders either. Make it all black like the bastard child of a Moog and a Juno.
I have not looked at Saurus, will check. Should not be very similar. Thinking of changing the LCDs to all black with reflection. Watch out in the next update. hebb wrote: why is there a line separating the filter mode and poles?
Genuine mistake, will fix in the next update. Thanks everyone for your inputs. I will try and implement in the next update. |

Much, much better than the first skin you posted! Not a fan of the blue-ish tone, but that's a personal preference. I like the subtle use of the texture for the background. People easily over do these sort of things in Photoshop. Good job!
P.S. also not a fan of the Copperplate font for the "Tyrell" logo. It makes it look a little cheap, especially since it's a font people recognize from their system fonts. Try something like the House Industries fonts, they cost a lot, but a lot of lookalike freebies can be found on dafont.com. This one would look great, looks a little like "Chalet" from House Industries: http://www.dafont.com/thesis.font?text=TYRELL+N6 Or this: http://www.dafont.com/wonderfull.font?text=TYRELL+N6 Choosing the right font is often half the job. Atleast for me, it's not unusual for me to spend atleast 30% of a project's time on looking for "that special font". But don't tell that to the customer |

Very nice version 3!
I'm not even interested in the synth, just wanted to say good work for the community. |
