Anyone getting their hopes up for seeing Sylenth1 in Reason some day?

this has a lot more to do with propellerheads then lennar...they'd have to allow it.
i doubt we'll ever see this, reason has it's own dope synth(s).

Now I don't own Sylenth1, but correct me if I am wrong:
Why on earth would Lennar make a Sylenth1 Re extention when he (they?) can't even update the VST version.

fisherking, Surely they would allow it if it be ported...?
zvenx, I'm afraid I cannot edit the poll
ntom, Maybe Lennard will consider it someday (or not) after seeing the poll results

i'm a former reason user...do they allow ANY 3rd-party plugins? thought that reason was self-contained, and DID NOT support outside plugins...?????

Reason is soon to allow developers to port their synths into Reason. They will be in a new format. I think Sylenth is the perfect candidate since it is an excellent synth and is so light on CPU,

Sylenth was a pretty popular crack. And Lennar lost a ton of sales because of it.ntom wrote:Now I don't own Sylenth1, but correct me if I am wrong:

With Rack Extension, Lennar is guaranteed 70% of whatever Lennar/Prop figure they can sell it for. (it will be a popular RE..)
You may even see a kickass upgrade for a Rack Extension Sylenth.

hopefully, we'll see an update, a 64bit AU for mac...etc, before we see S1 in reason...

Because it seems to take couple of hours to do it for some fresh cash coming from the unexpected world of Reason. That's a GOOD.... Reasonntom wrote:Now I don't own Sylenth1, but correct me if I am wrong:

Right, also updating a plugin they created...how long ago? and giving it the support it needs drives away the money that could have been made ON TOP of that good reason.
I have chosen not to buy - or even consider - Sylenth1 because regardless of what Lennard says...it's dead. Until he gives it a real, deserved, update, it sounds like quite a waste of money when there are many better support plugins out that that may very well exceed Sylenth.

am seriously frustrated with this, but i love S1, and am amassing a great collections of presets for it (some of them my own doing).
it sounds great, is logical, easy to tweak...
that's the bottom line: IT SOUNDS GREAT.
sure, it's like running an app from LOL the 1990's, but at least it runs.

Sorry, nothing exceeds Sylenth for what it does...I hear this all the time, especially from those that don't own it...mehntom wrote:Right, also updating a plugin they created...how long ago? and giving it the support it needs drives away the money that could have been made ON TOP of that good reason.

Just out of interest... people are always shouting for updates for their purchased synths... why would it need an update? Are there bugs to be fixed? Or are you expecting it to be a work in progress, like the u-he synths, with added features on every new version? If it's the first point then i gotta say, if you purchase a plugin, you pay for what it is right now. I don't think any developper has the duty of updating his stuff if it's working fine, unless it's his firm policy.ntom wrote:Right, also updating a plugin they created...how long ago? and giving it the support it needs drives away the money that could have been made ON TOP of that good reason.

Indeed, my arguments aren't very valid since I don't own it.
