tried the tape echo. it really is buggy as hell, but it looks and sounds very promising!
i played around with it in MuLab 4. the CPU instantly went to around 35% when the plugin was loaded. there are cracks in the audio from time to time and the controls are a bit hard to tame. however, i really like what the plugin does, the sound is rich and it reminds me of my Dynacord Echocord Mini. please continue developing this plugin! |

I've done no debug at all on this plugin, I just develop it for my macintosh (OS X 10.6) with logic pro, the tape algorithm is awfull.
There is a lot of tricks with JUCE I din't notice (memory allocation, slider values), I will refresh a bit the source and make new version if I got time. But why the hell people prefer this delay at my compressor !
