I am not looking for ALL his sounds:)
I am just looking for his special trills and riling sparkling spacey sounds that he uses in his tracks. Is there a vst somewhere that has this sounds as part of his presets. Just asking:) classic. ---- Sounds for soundtracks and your music here: http://www.sampleism.com/art-renaissance-project?sk=kt |

You might want to try the Xils-Lab Synthix.
Modelled after a synth Jarre used a lot, and there are a lot of classic patches in the presets, and even more in the sound add ons. I appreciate it's overkill, but Jarre himself contributed some of this stuff to the Moog expansion for Omnisphere, using some of the actual synths used in Oxygene. Nerd heaven! |

OP-X PRO-II has a handful of Jarre sounds in its library, including some of the brasses, leads, arpeggios, laser harp, and the of course the singing saw, plus a lot of typical soundeffects.
That's what Georges Poropat did with OP-X PRO (the basic one) and Stringer: OP-X PRO - Oxygene 8 cover -- |

Xils-Lab xils 3. This thing is a very powerful modular synth and has that warm analogue sound of JMJ. It also has a 128 step sequencer and effects processor. Well worth a look... |

First, his name is Jean Michel Jarre and second, there is a Reaktor ensemble called "Eminent-V 310 Unique Strings" made by Hugo Portillo, where you get that awesome Oxygene/Equinoxe sounds. |

all I can ever think when I see this kind of thread is "all of them". JMJ used dozens of different synths and keyboards. But, he also used a lot of external effects. Which can make it tricky sometimes to get dead on.
But, almost every single VSTi ever made can do one or more JMJ meat and potatoes sounds. ---- I'm not insane. I'm reality challenged. |

Keb has something special going on. Check this out:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=345583&highlig ht= We should invite Kebu here so that he could give a few pointers about making authentic JMJ sounds. Bigtone knows the tricks too (haven't seen him around lately). |

Feed a string synth through a small stone phaser and it's not hard to get that Jarre wash.
This was a deliberate attempt at getting something with a Jarre feel: http://www.dreamconspiracy.co.uk/reve.mp3 |
