Slightly off-topic, but since this is a music production forum some of you might enjoy Opolopo's contribution to loopmasters. The whole package is based on his "Voltage Controlled Feelings" work..

Not strictly a synth funk band, but this is a very funky synth track by Zorch*

That's excellent. I use to listen everyday to a station near me that only played this kind of synth funk-jazz-fusion type music, very similar to all the sounds in this thread. Loved it too.ZenPunkHippy wrote:Not strictly a synth funk band, but this is a very funky synth track by Zorch*

Here's something that I did with Zebra only, and iDrum. It's almost funky, but using these guitar sounds, I think I can do something to funk things up.

Lakeside - Fantastic Voyage Official Video
Spot the Arp Quadra at 2:30.
I first heard this song in 1981 on my parents "K-Tel - Dancer" tape. I played it on my Panasonic boombox all over the neighborhood for weeks.

That synth bass is superb. A lush 'rubbery' sound. It's interesting to hear how well it works with the guitar bass.
I forgot to keep an eye on this tread. A lot of new links/music to check out!
