The HomeRecording interview is AWESOME. So inspiring.... the sense of humor there just reads in my mind : "Go and tweak those knobs, fella !" Sean Any ETA on a tweaked preset system (if ever) ? and a resizeable GHI ? (THAT PERSISTS) |

(THAT PERSISTS) Tweaked preset system? Not sure I follow. As far as resizable GUI, IIRC the preset size is stored in the project. Different instances can have different sizes. That is : preset system akin to Cubase' one (where one knows exactly what preset is the current one, the presets is highlighted within the the folder, which is highlighted, too)... the ability to "tag" presets (or something similar - I have 200+ presets and it's getting tiresome to look for a preset with specific attributes... valhallasound wrote: As far as resizable GUI, IIRC the preset size is stored in the project. AFAICR, my Cubase 6 doesn't remember the GUI size. I'll have a look at it, again. |

I'll look into this for future updates. Displaying the folder name in the PRESETS: text would be useful as well. The most likely path is that I will keep the above recommendations in mind while working on the next plugin, and then fold the changes into later plugin updates after the new one comes out. A cool preset I just came up with, which takes a ping pong echo, adds random modulation and tape filtering/overdrive, and a small amount of diffusion to smear the echos all over the stereo image:
<ValhallaUberMod pluginVersion="1.0.1" presetName="PingPongDiffuseTapeEcho" Mix="0.5" Depth="0.5" StereoWidth="0.711499989" Delay="0.00999999978" Feedback="0.683000028" Spread="0.5" Slope="0.5" Skew="0.5" Random="0" TapGain="0.5" Diffusion="0.231999993" DiffSize="0.753061235" DiffModRate="0.0490490496" DiffModDepth="1" LowCut="0.0603015088" HighCut="0.324120611" SpatialXover="0.145728648" DetuneRate="0.0490490496" DetuneDepth="0.5" VibratoRate="0.298245579" VibratoDepth="0" OverMod="0" DriveInGain="0.375" DriveOutGain="0.75" DriveNoiseGain="0.333333343" FeedbackRotate="1" SmoothingTime="0.0990990996" ColorMode="0" DelaySync="0.0588235296" type="0.0416666679" DiffEnable="1" Drive="1" DrivePrePost="1" Speed="0" InputPan="0.625"/> Sean Costello ---- Plugins: http://www.valhalladsp.com Blog: http://valhalladsp.wordpress.com KVR Subforum: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=146 |
