MiniSpillage2 Release Candidate 1

Few problems found with under MacOs X Lion, with Ableton Live 8.2.8 :

- Minispillage 2 is sometime crashing Live when switching from Electronic 1 to Electronic 2 while the host is playing (not everytime but i reproduced that four times)
- Strange Transparency behavior in pattern edit automation steps (I can see ableton live graphics behind some automation steps, seems that alpha transparency is going too far )
- When editing a pad, the panel always show the sample editor first, even if that's synthesis. Not a big bug but annoying. I know that we can layer, but maybe having synthesis shown if no sample is loaded would be better.. Or maybe at least a shortcut like : Shift + edit button = synthesis?

I also want to say that this one will be a winner when it will be stable!
I just tweaked the presets, and i must admit this plug is already a lot of fun.

OK, thanks for the reports. Logged and will look into them.

This was annoying me too so thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps it should remember the layer you last edited and return to that layer automatically when entering edit mode?

I've had this with Logic and 10.6.8 as well.

This was annoying me too so thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps it should remember the layer you last edited and return to that layer automatically when entering edit mode?

Yes, if you can do that it would be great, ie :
- When creating a preset : user preference.
- When loading a preset, pad edit goes to sample edit or synthesis edit depending to the pad mixer(full right side=synthesis, full left side=sample, between : user preference )
- Then during the lifetime of the plugin remember the last edited for each pad (unless a new preset is loaded)
