the wobbles audio demo was not really impressive at all. sounded weak.

exactly my thoughts!

Predator makes some good 'wobbles' the ones in the demo where not the sort i would use in a track!

the Rob Lee Demo is the best display of what is good though!

but i have yet to demo the synth!

TBH it dose not sound like something i need with my current arsenal of Synths

(Ace, Diva, SynthMaster 2.5, Synth Squad, Blue, Predator, Zebra, Octopus, Sub Boom Bass, Tremor, Geist, Emlator X 3, & More!)

but i could be wrong! Very Happy

I like that skin scoobz. I like textured knobs better, but if RP uses it, I hope you get a free copy (NFR at least). Rob, when did you do your presets, and why weren't they on the demo?
(PS. Good offer and I've bought from floridamusic.com before Thumbs Up!

Hi mate,

Errr well i got Blade around 5 or 6 days before the release day. I took 2 full days just checking out the features and how stuff worked then i just went for it. I spent around 14hrs a day after that just programming and adjusting my sounds ready to submit. I had till midnight to submit but had the 64 sounds in around 10pm.
I do really like the synth espescially for pad sounds and you can record your own movments in the XY area and do all sorts. Im happy with the results for sure but you do really need time with Blade to really appreciate it.

PS

I hope scoobz skin gets accepted by Rob cause it makes the synth so much more appealing IMO..

Cheers

I'm just wondering because like someone said, the demo has one bank. Someone else said the actual synth had ten banks. Like I said, I accidentally download the synth from my account and it was like 45mb. The demo's like 25. That makes it around, let's say 10 presets from every bank. Why not just the whole thing, or even an incomplete whole thing? I don't know - seems to be a whole lot of wubbing going on, and that's why I said I don't know who this synth is aimed at. The sounscapes and some things were as good as anything I heard on Omnisphere, so this demo, to me, was kind of schizo. Either fix or provide an alternate GUI, and make a new demo. My preference would be just categories, if that is do-able. I know that's a lot of hard work after a lot of hard work, but this feels to me like Rob's baby and it hurts to read comments like I've read. But, being a former synthmaker myself, it's good and can be a wake up call.

And P.S, FFS, just demo it yourself, I've heard sound demos that were grand and then the actual software was a big letdown. People who don't know what they are taking about are the ones who usually say the most.(myself included) Very Happy

I have the full version, it comes with 10 banks including the "Introduction bank" that comes with the demo.

I agree there are allot of wobles, obviously those are headed to dubstep.

I think if you compare any thing to Omnisphere, it would look inferior. Omnisphere is something else, it's on another level IMO, it's like comparing a BMW to a Ferrari Smile

I base this on a 30 minute test drive at Guitar Center. But, it was with good headphones and a midi keyboard.
BMW's are still nice, except if you;re from Germany. In Germany BMW is probably like Ford. Wink
Let's say like comparing a Ferrari to a Rolls Royce Phantom (drop top coupe, of course)

Oh I love the BMW Smile, I own one. But to a Ferrari it's just not a fair match.

Sure the Royce will top. But If I got one (in my dreams) I would sell it and buy a Ferrari and couple of top notch hardware synths too HiHi

being a shallow asphetic type and allowing image to influence the feel of an instrument I have never warmed to any RP GUIs. Why so dark I am nit sure.
NONE the less from the thread IT APPEARS to be another wubbler. I have more wubble than a trifle factory and a certain black door crescent in Amsterdam. However for a first timer maybe this will suffice for the money. Perslnally the best for Wubble isNIs massive, Reaktors Razor or even Omnisphere which will cover an enormous amount of bases, scope. Wkll try a demo kn Blade tomorrow when I get home.
