Hello,
I have a question about using downloaded midi loops for your own productions. So lets say you buy some, they are Royalty-Free, would you use them in your production, or would you at least change them a little bit? What are the negative sides of that? It is blocking your own creativiti for sure, but I'm sure there are many more. What do you think about this? Thanks |

I think you're way overthinking this. Use them as-is if you want, change them if you want, or don't use them.
Unless you want to take this waaaaaay farther and examine how using off-the-shelf midi loops is messing up your brain chemistry somehow and breaking down neural connections responsible for creativity. I know absolute diddly about that so I'll let someone else chime in. |

Ok, thanks for the quick reply
I thought that it is kinda stupid to use something that someone else created. But I think that many people use it actually. Thanks again |

I use MIDI arps once in a while. I just change the root note to make variations & create my own riffs. If anyone knows about a VSTi that can loads MIDI arps, let me know, as I would find it very usefull! |
