Check out what software comes with the new microKEY61 comes with:

http://www.korg.com/microkey

1. KORG Legacy Collection Special Bundle (License) *microKEY-61 only
Included is a license for the Korg Legacy Collection Special Bundle, which contains the following software titles: the MS-20 analog monophonic synthesizer, the Polysix polyphonic synthesizer, the all-embracing Mono/Poly analog synthesizer, the M1 which was the original music workstation, and the Wavestation digital synthesizer. Licenses for these five classic Korg instruments, reborn as software and accompanied by the MDE-X effect plug-in, are bundled with the microKEY-61 (download for use).

Terrific plugins they really are.

However,Korgs recent keyboards suck BIG time imho.

After purchasing the microkey v.1 and using the voucher to buy the Legacy Bundle for $99 the keyboard went straight on ebay.

Tiny little keyboard that needed not 1 but TWO DRIVERS that totaled over 30mb download. Still wouldn't work properly after all that faffing around.

Many complaints from other users too.

Avoid the keys and grab the software would be sage advice imho.

Bad timing on my end!.

Purchased a microKEY 37 last Sunday.

Would have held off until the microKEY-61 was available with the
Legacy Collection Special Bundle.

No issues with drivers here, fits nicely on my desk (unobtrusive) and
good enough for a guitar player who just needs to add some background
pads here and there.

They all work in 32 bit. A 64 bit update is badly needed and well overdue.

Don't cry too hard - it's only available with the MicroKEY61 ($210) not the MicroKEY37 ($116). For near the difference you can just buy the upgrade ($99) from the M1 LE that came with the 37.

Re: 64bit, I was surprised they weren't already, being Korg & all. Ironic when big companies like Korg lag small devs who have 64bit versions of their whole lineup.

BTW, does the term microKEY61 strike anyone else as a major oxymoron? I imagine a dude packing this around and plugging it in to his lappy at the local coffee shop
