I'd be very interested to read the reports, are we talking rc particularly or entire vcc?

Only the RC. Those same people liked the other consoles. Also, these weren't professional reports, just friends and customers telling me their opinions.

But all i seem to read are positive things overall!

Yeah, me, too. Smile VCC is one of our top 5 products these days.

Hey Eric, my 40th birthday coming up, thunderbolt adapters to give me an extra two firewire busses on my ipad with the sonnet adapter, i can see an apollo and a satellite coming, as long as UAD are 64 bit by then.

I am sure you will look after me on price and also ship as cheap as possible Smile do the satellites have universal voltage? and the apollo?

Sounds good to me! I believe the Apollos and Satellites all take universal voltage.

I prefer my Xils-Lab, FXpansions, Camel Audio and PSP plugins much more than a lot of what UAD has to offer for creative FX. UAD plugins could never replace them and nor are they meant to so a UAD only studio would be creative hell for me. Some of the reverbs I have are much more suited to the kind of music I make than UAD verbs. UAD has some outstanding plugins but getting locked into the prohibitive prices of the UAD dongles is a mistake I'll not make again.

I don't think I could've made this without the RE-201:

Wink

The RE-201 sounds very good and I've got this plugin and use it sometimes but the same effect can be created in the PSP 608, Le Masque Delay, Nebula Pro and CamelSpace and they all sound great. The filters on the PSP 608 are incredible.

I was responding the the person who said they only needed UAD plugins. I rarely ever use one plugin any more for creative effects. I use combinations of plugins so the thought of being restricted to just UAD plugins would be creative hell for me. Anyone buying into UAD thinking they'll have everything covered is making a very expensive mistake.

Cool! That explains why we've been selling so many Le Masque Delays lately. The 608 hasn't seemed as popular, at least not through us.

Yeah, I'd generally agree with that. SoundToys Native Effects and CamelSpace are better for experimental tweaking than anything on the UAD is.
