Hi,
I am not a composer/song writer, but in my opinion it is very well suited for electronic music. You will find the included phrase and rhythm generators very useful. VST support is pretty good, most plug-ins work flawlessly. If you find a plug-in that does not work, please let us know and we try to fix it. Thanks, Attila |

Cool I have another question. When I run this software in VST mode in my DAW runs the VSTs correct and at the cost of reduced functionality? |

I am not sure I understand what you mean.
The functionality is reduced somewhat because the VST plug-in API does not allow for a plug-in to send transport commands, so the PLAY/STOP/REC buttons are removed in VST mode. Also the full version does not include the Idea Tool in VST mode because it requires selecting instruments, and there is no such thing as an 'instrument' in VST mode. Thanks, |

Electronic music is a bit vague but if you mean techno, house, electro etc. Sure you can do that. Just like pop and classic music. But the provided library of phrases are more classic oriented so you need to build your own phrases and maybe build your own library of those. Or at least import from midi. What I'm saying is that you need to invest some time making your own building blocks/phrases or use the automatic generation tool. Band In a Box e.g has a much wider range of genres in the library in this respect (just reading from their web site) but it's a very different application. |
