Lovely track - really enjoyed the textures all the way through it. How long have you been making ambient for? I'm really interested in all types of ambient and had a blast at it myself but wasn't convinced with what I produced.

Thanks! :)

I have been making music for about eleven years - ambient has always been something I do occasionally. I find that concepts and texture work best for making ambient - more than melody, chord progression or (obviously) rhythm. In this one I put 5 instances of Mr Tramp 2 on 5 different channels and used a different instance of Valhalla UberMod with different settings on each channel. I also used ValhallaRoom on the master and a couple of other channels with synths. The concept was more "let's see what I can do with Valhalla UberMod and ValhallaRoom" than "take a C, Emin and F and play them in a progression". So it's more of a mood thing than anything else.

An interesting piece which sounds very pleasant and relaxing. It was also interesting to see the process that created it. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work :)

Lovely smooth track. Makes me think of the wind through trees and Aeolian harps :tu:
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Really great! I don't know why but it reminds me of Philip Glass (which is a good thing) :)
Really great atmosphere! :tu:
