Demos sound excellent! Is there likely to be a 64bit version in the future?

Not in near future. However the plan is to port my plugs into other formats but it's a long road to go for me and i can't tell when it could be done.SolarRainUK wrote:Demos sound excellent! Is there likely to be a 64bit version in the future?
Nevertheless REFLEX PRO should run fine with e.g. "jbridge" in a 64bit host.

Some hours ahead...osiris wrote:What's the status on the update with those juicy new presets. stw?
I'm at the final testings and still have to rework some parts of the manual.

Posted this over in the stw forum but havent gotten a response, figured your probably checking here more often:
I was trying to figure out which is the preferred paypal method for US purchases. Do you prefer the prepayment option in the store? Or do you prefer the alternative paypal link you have? Just confused as to which one I should be using. Wanted to make sure that it would show up under my store account later.

sorry for missing your post. Actually i thought i had some notification about new postings activated. Will check that...
As for the payment:
If you want to use PayPal from the US you have to choose the optional link on the stw-audio website and not the shop. That's due to some unfinished PayPal US address exchange from the Veyton (shop software) shop widget. Which is really annoying but i can't do anything about that but waiting if that will be implemented completely in the future.
If you go through the shop as a US customer you can pay with credit card and other methods.
The difference is that the shopsystem sends out the purchased serial number immediatly after a completed transaction.
The payments from the optional US PayPal link are handled by me manually.
Hope my answer doesn't make it even more confusing as it already is...

I've just bought RP because it sounds so good. I'm using it with Alchemy on some pads and it's lovely. I also own CamelSpace but Reflex Pro has a different sound and I really think the presets are more interesting than the ones in CS. I think if you like experimenting with creative effects then it's a must have. It's a bargain at the current price and worth the full price for what it offers.
My only query is that when I adjust some of the parameters I sometimes makes a ripping/stepping sound. Also a larger and brighter GUI would make it easier to edit some of the smaller controls. Is it possible to have a few alternative larger skins in lighter colours? I think the design is great but I've never been a fan of very dark interfaces. I always lighten Photoshop and Vegas when I install a new version because I find it a strain to work with a dark interface. Although some people seem to prefer this.
Another suggestion for a future update is to have an x/y control to assign parameters to. Sort of like in CamelSpace/Alchemy or similar to the way Massive or DCAM SynthSquad can control multiple parameters.

Hi munchkin,
glad you like the plug.
I'll consider your suggestions for further updates.
Which parameters cause the noise? That shouldn't happen on knobs and sliders.
On/Off buttons or routing menues can generate short clicks if they force a recompiling of the code.

can reflex be used like a chorus (modulating the delay time) ? if yes, doest it make a good one ?

Yes it can do chorus like delay modulations. In fact (delay) modulation is one of the most significant characteristics. But if it's "just" a chorus what you're after there might be some lighter plugs which are somewhat more target orientet.hcv242 wrote:can reflex be used like a chorus (modulating the delay time) ? if yes, doest it make a good one ?
To be honest my focus when doing the presets wasn't at doing just another chorus sound so you won't find that much for that prupose. However RPs modulation possibilities are almost endless and that goes for delay modulation as well.
And finally my usual answer:
If the sound pleases you is best to find out by just trying and tweaking the demo.
It's fully functional. If it doesn't please you just uninstall and don't worry anymore...

I have to bump this thread, because, after a bout of demoing, I caved and bought this delicious multi-effect for a ridiculous sum.
Really great job on this one, I'm having a blast with it!
