been really getting into Moombahton

Interesting...I've never heard Moombahton.
I like the mixture of Latin percussion sound and techno. For my taste it sounds a little bit too electronic, but maybe I'm too used to Reggaeton. Are there some rules of how Moombahton has to be, or is it just an arbitrary mixture of Reggaeton and Techno? |

aha! thanks! i use Logic Pro 9, and for plugins, just Native Instruments Massive, and allot of different FX and Distortions! |

Are there some rules of how Moombahton has to be, or is it just an arbitrary mixture of Reggaeton and Techno? yeah, I've just started getting into it!, apparently some dude named Dave Nada slowed down a house beat to 108bpm at one of his cousins parties cus everyone was listening to reggaeton and he was a house dj. and yah this does have allot of Electro Leads and Synths... mostly Saws lol but honestly, i think right now since its so new and its getting more recognition, its basically just open to how ever you want to make it!, itsj use gotta have that nice chillin 108-112 bpm with some Dem Bow Toms and snares on the drum loop still i made it the way i like it! |
