And here is a teaser about the new one
Roundtone v.3 is going to cost 29.99$, but it is a free update for all users existing before the official release Going to beta soon... Here is the meaning of the new parameters: - B exp is that "B type noise reduction expander". Used as a dynamic enhancer on the high frequencies. Its small metering bas shows the amount of expansion introduced - Wow stands for wow and flutter. It has several modes (small menu) - Mono to mono or stereo to stereo flanging can be achieved by mixing wowed signal and dry one (mix knob). Flange control is for left-right flanging. Very useful for widening effects - Delay, well, is a feedback around the emulation. Tape delay through the set tape emulation - Noise. Finally the noise. With the option for dynamic mode (like in Strip). Dynamic noise is active only under a signal, it is silenced when the input level goes down. This is ti get its enhancing "dithering" effect without that trivial constant background hiss, so annoying if you put some compression after the tape. The original modes are untouched (I love and use them everyday), some new modes are added, mainly with requested brighter sound. Here is a simple video about the new Roundtone v.3 (multitrack drums) Roundtone v.3 - Multitrack drums demo Last edited by quintosardo on Sun May 27, 2012 12:16 pm; edited 3 times in total |

Looks awesome. I really didn't think it would evolve this much when I bought it (I love the current version). Looks like it's fully-featured now Looking forward to this (and the strip v2 bugfix |

Wow quinto, this looks amazing I already use roundtone in every mix, now it's getting even more features Are the new parameters shared by the tape machines or individual like gain? I am missing a good tape delay and this might be just what I need. I already have the v2 of your tape plugin so this is really good news for me. Tape delay for free |

I have this plug so I'm definitely looking forward to version 3. Just bought Stripbus... how long does it take to get the download normally? I can't wait to use it. ---- Snare drums samples: the new and improved "dither algo" |

Has anybody compared this to TB Reelbus? Reelbus seems to be getting great reviews, I remember Roundtone got similarly great reviews when it was released. ---- Has anybody ever really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? |
