I just tinker around with classic analog rock sounds via the computer.
This is FL Studio's bundled Hardcore, a amp and effects modeler. I think it does effects as well as any product I've tried. $100 guitar clean w/preamp line in - FL Studio- BFD - Massive - Korg Legacy Cell Hardcore - Wave Arts Plugins - Vintage Warmer - PSP 84 Just a simple one take each snippet quantized! Thanks for any listens. http://compusouth.net/music/usinghardcore.mp3 |

I like that guitar sound. Reminds me of something that might have featured in the soundtrack of one of those David Lynch movies from the late '80s or early '90s.
Nice sounds Greg |

I appreciate your reviews, I think we probably have some things in common. I rented Eraserhead for the cover long ago, became an instant all time favorites. Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are favorites too. Lynch association gladly accepted.
Hardcore really has a nice smooth sound to it. Thanks. |

I really liked Wild at Heart. I saw it at the cinema in Istanbul in '89 or '90. One of those really big-screen cinemas with a military-grade sound system. Those scenes with the matches being struck were just unforgettable |

Wild at Heart, I unfortunately have not seen that one, but am going to find it when I get back from work. Eraserhead with that sickly mechanical/chemical backdrop producing that sickly baby and "new baby chickens" half alive brought something to a different level. The singing girl with the deformed "jaws" coupled with that old Hammond side show organ sound with her singing singing "Heavan" in giddy fashion had me hooked for life. All out of his apartment radiator! Lynch is a genius. |
